The Rafters
The Rafters are a four-piece punk rock band from East Lancashire. Formed in 2019 and bringing together members from previous bands Middle Finger Salute and The Shade, The Rafters quickly gained attention for their energetic sound. Their track “Slippin’ Away” was featured on Soccer AM and added to the show’s playlist.
The band proved to be productive through the pandemic, using their time to write and record new songs. They had three tracks released last year, with ‘Reasons’ being arguably their most popular, showcasing their raw and infectious punk energy. Frontman Nathan Griffiths describes the song as expressing anger, confusion, boredom, and unanswered questions. The Rafters’ music sparks nostalgia and creates an atmosphere reminiscent of live gigs that include supports slots to Deja Vega, The Skinner Brothers and a main stage appearance at Confessional Festival.

The Stride
The Stride are a 5 piece Rock ‘n’ Roll band from Burnley. They bring their attitude and look from the football terraces of the north west. From playing small gigs around the pubs of Burnley, The Stride have moved into playing bigger venues around neighbouring areas such as Manchester, Blackburn, Sheffield and many more.
